可燃气体报警器的设置要求:
1、检测气体密度小于空气密度的可燃气体报警器应设置在被保护空间的顶部,检测气体密度大于空气密度的可燃气体报警器应设置在被保护空间的下部,当检测气体密度等于空气密度时可燃气体报警器可设置在被保护空间的中部或顶部。
2、可燃气体报警器应设置在可能产生可燃气体的场所附近。越靠近可能泄漏可燃气体的地方,探测器的灵敏度越高。
3、点型可燃气体报警器的探测和防护半径应符合现行国家标准《石油化工可燃气体和有毒气体探测与报警设计规范》GB 50493的有关规定。可燃气体报警器的防护半径不能太大,否则可能会因泄漏可燃气体的不规则扩散而降低探测器的灵敏度。
4、线型可燃气体报警器主要用于检测大空间开放环境下的可燃气体泄漏。为保证探测器的探测灵敏度,探测区域的长度不应大于60m。
