Precautions for the use of carbon dioxide detector

Publication Date:2021/12/23

Although carbon dioxide is the 1 non-toxic gas, it is a suffocating gas. When the content reaches 10%, it will gradually slow people's breathing, which may lead to suffocation and death. Therefore, for entering places with high carbon dioxide concentration, we must install a carbon dioxide detector to detect the change of carbon dioxide concentration from time to time, so as to prevent carbon dioxide poisoning. So do you know what to consider when using CO2 detector ? The following is an introduction by Yi Yuntian:

Precautions for using the CO2 detector:

1. When using the carbon dioxide detector, do not charge it in the power-on inspection state.

2. After the position of the carbon dioxide detector is fixed, do not move its position arbitrarily to avoid damage to its accessories.

3. Calibration and calibration personnel must be trained to understand the principle and performance of the carbon oxide detector, master the operation skills and hold a certificate.

4. The carbon dioxide detector should not be used for a long time and should be stored in a dry and dust-free environment. It should be charged before reuse and checked ten minutes after starting up.

5. the inspection result of the carbon dioxide detector is to quantitatively display the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air within the error range, which should not be regarded as the legal inspection result according to relevant laws and regulations.

6. When alarming, the carbon dioxide concentration has exceeded the set alarm concentration. After confirming that the reason for the excessive carbon dioxide concentration is eliminated, press the reset key to clear the alarm data.

7. after the carbon dioxide detector gives an alarm, please do not turn on the electrical switch, confirm the reason for the ultra-high carbon dioxide concentration, and deal with it in time: if the reason is unknown, please contact the relevant gas department for a thorough inspection.

8. After the carbon dioxide detector generates a concentration alarm signal, the output control signal (AC220V) is locked. Even if the gas concentration does not continue to exceed the limit, the controlled equipment cannot automatically restore the state before the alarm, restoration must be done manually (press the reset key or self-test key for 3 seconds).

In summary, it is the precautions for the use of carbon dioxide detectors. When the carbon dioxide detector is not used for a long time, the power of the instrument should be turned off and stored carefully to avoid long-term strong direct sunlight or humid environment. And in the usual use of the process, should do regular maintenance work, do not fall touch, do not let the instrument inhalation of dust.
