How many gases can multiple gas detectors detect at the same time?

Publication Date:2020/12/18

Gas detector is commonly used in industrial production testing equipment, according to the test results of the selection of appropriate safety protection supplies. What are the common faults of the gas detector? How can we solve the common faults of the gas detector?

Defect 1, low-concentration gas cannot be detected.

countermeasures:

check whether the air pump in the air meter is normal, block the air inlet with your fingers for 5 seconds. if it feels normal and there is obvious suction phenomenon, if there is no suction phenomenon, check whether the air inlet is blocked;

calibrate the zero point 2. the nitrogen flow or in clean air, and check after verification;

If the measured gas cannot be detected after calibration, the gas detector needs to be restored to factory settings.

The above steps still cannot be detected after operation. It is necessary to confirm whether there is the measured gas on site or the concentration of the measured gas is really very low. If it is lower than the minimum detection accuracy of the gas sensor, it cannot be detected.

in the air, there is no measured gas, but the value fluctuates greatly or jumps randomly.

countermeasures:

the short-term zero fluctuation range is less than 1%, which belongs to the normal range. in the absence of the measured gas, the long-term drift is less than 2%, which belongs to the normal range. if the 1 range is exceeded, it is necessary to confirm whether the measured gas exists on site or the temperature and humidity in the air fluctuate greatly, cause the value is unstable;

2 is to confirm whether the gas detector has carried out zero calibration or target point calibration operation. if the zero calibration operation is carried out in the case of measured gas, low concentration gas may not be detected. if the target point calibration is carried out in the case of measured gas, but the calibrated concentration value is inconsistent with the actual concentration value, the value of the gas detector may fluctuate greatly, or the detected value is too small, these two situations can be solved by restoring the factory operation;

if the 4. still cannot solve the problem, it is necessary to determine whether the gas detector is supplied with high concentration gas or there is high concentration gas impacting the gas sensor. if the gas sensor is impacted, the gas detector is still unstable after being turned on and aged for 24 hours. it may be that the gas sensor is damaged by impact and needs to be replaced.

Error 3. detection is inaccurate.

countermeasures:

1. confirm whether the on-site gas concentration is accurate. the theoretical value is quite different from the actual value. pass the standard gas detector or check it by a third-party metering agency to ensure the accuracy of the detection.

if the gas sensor is used for a long time, the measured value may have errors, it is necessary to negotiate with the manufacturer to determine whether it can continue to be used. If the gas sensor itself has a fast service life, it can still be used normally within a short time after recalibration, but the measurement value of the gas sensor will drift and the detection is not allowed. It is recommended to replace the gas sensor.

When the value is 0 or the alarm value is not reached, the alarm will also be issued.

countermeasures:

check whether the parameters of various alarm values of the gas detector have been corrected;

check the alarm mode of the gas detector and whether the alarm mode has been changed;

check whether the alarm state of the gas detector is concentration alarm or other fault alarm, the words A1 or A2 will appear in the concentration alarm, and the red light will flash;

if the gas detector alarm is caused by human operation modification, it can be solved by restoring the factory settings. the fault alarm needs to be further checked for short circuit, open circuit, poor contact, sensor failure, etc., or sent back to the manufacturer for inspection.
