Oxygen detector calibration should pay attention to what aspects?
Publication Date:2021/07/15 The oxygen detector is used to detect the concentration of oxygen in the measured environment to prevent an explosion caused by excessive oxygen concentration. During detection, the oxygen detector can realize the alarm function through the signal conversion and the alarm point set. However, we need to calibrate the oxygen detector before using it or after using it for a long time. Only in this way can we ensure the accuracy of its data. So do you know what to consider when calibrating oxygen detector ? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

Note the following when calibrating the oxygen detector:
1. Keep the calibration environment of the oxygen detector stable and avoid the influence of drastic changes in temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, etc.
2. the calibration of the oxygen detector adopts the standard gas sample comparison calibration method, and the error of each point shall not exceed the specified value of the verification regulation.
3. the flow rate of standard gas must be strictly in accordance with the requirements of the instructions. too large or too small flow rate will affect the detection results and cause measurement errors.
4. if the unused enterprise detector is placed for a long time, 3% standard gas should be introduced to activate its catalytic element, and then 1% standard gas should be introduced for adjustment. otherwise, the error of each point is not within the qualified range, resulting in calibration failure.
5. the standard gas mask of the oxygen detector itself should be selected. if an unreasonable standard gas mask is selected, the value will be unstable and inaccurate.
6. when calibrating the oxygen detection alarm point, observe the acousto-optic alarm signal at the same time. those that cannot alarm or the alarm sound intensity is low are unqualified instruments.
In summary, some aspects should be paid attention to in the calibration of the oxygen detector. In order to ensure the accurate measurement of oxygen detection, regular calibration is a very critical work. In principle, calibration is carried out once a year or once every six months. The specific calibration time can be selected according to the actual situation.
