How does the sulfur dioxide detector work?
Publication Date:2021/10/22 Sulfur dioxide is the 1 toxic gas. When the concentration of sulfur dioxide in the air is only 1ppm (parts per million), we will feel a sense of oppression. When the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air is 200ppm, the human body will experience mild headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea and other symptoms after inhalation for 2 or 3 hours. It can be seen that sulfur dioxide is very domineering. The sulfur dioxide detector is an instrument for detecting the concentration of sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide gas, which can effectively monitor sulfur dioxide gas. Therefore, it has long been integrated into all aspects of our lives and has been applied in many industries. So do you know how the Sulfur Dioxide Detector works? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

sulfur dioxide detector works:
sulfur dioxide detector time double light path sulfur dioxide fluorescence detection method theoretically eliminates the measurement error of sulfur dioxide caused by the change of gas composition. Through the experimental analysis, this method is obviously superior to the single optical path detection method, so that the selectivity, sensitivity, anti-interference ability and so on have a greater improvement. It is recognized that the more mature monitoring method of sulfur dioxide is pararosaniline hydrochloride method, which is the standard method for the determination of sulfur dioxide in China and other countries.
The equipment converts the gas concentration detected by the sensor into an electrical signal, and transmits it to the controller through the cable. The higher the detected gas concentration, the stronger the electrical signal. When the gas concentration reaches or exceeds the alarm point set by the alarm, the alarm sends out an alarm signal and activates the solenoid valve, exhaust fan and other outreach equipment, automatically eliminate hidden dangers. When ultraviolet light irradiates SO2 molecules, fluorescence is excited. The ultraviolet light is detected by a reference detector, and the fluorescence generated by SO2 is detected by a photomultiplier tube (PMT). These two detection values are obtained through a typical dual-channel technology, which can reduce the influence of light intensity change, light path pollution and PMT drift to a small amount. Before the sample gas is measured, a hydrocarbon filter is used to remove interfering hydrocarbons.
sulfur dioxide detector is an instrument for detecting toxic gases. it can detect common toxic gases quickly, reliably and accurately. plug-and-play intelligent sensors are adopted to enable one instrument to flexibly detect different gases, provide effective personal safety protection for site personnel.
In summary, it is the working principle of the sulfur dioxide detector. In order to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of the test results of the sulfur dioxide detector, the sulfur dioxide detector is in accordance with GB/T2423.19-81 GB/T10125-97 GB/T9789 IEC 60068-2-42/43 and other relevant standards for design and manufacture, applicable to the above purpose standards. As long as the sulfur dioxide detector manufactured in accordance with such standards can better ensure the validity and accuracy of its data results.
