What are the output methods of the carbon dioxide detector?
Publication Date:2021/12/09 carbon dioxide detector is the 1 gas detector suitable for continuous on-line detection and on-site sound and light alarm of carbon dioxide concentration in various industrial environments and special environments. It can play an early warning role in the safety of dangerous sites, so as to ensure the safety of on-site personnel. However, due to the different applications, the output mode of the carbon dioxide detector is also divided into many. What are the output methods of the carbon dioxide detector ? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

Output of CO2 detector:
1. Switching value/relay output:
When the carbon dioxide concentration reaches the preset alarm value, the indicator light of the carbon dioxide detector changes from green to red and flashes. At the same time, the relay is closed and the corresponding ventilation equipment is turned on. When the carbon dioxide concentration is lower than the preset alarm value, the indicator light turns green, the relay switch is disconnected and the ventilation equipment is turned off.
2, 4-20mA current analog output:
converts the collected carbon dioxide concentration signal into 4-20mA current of corresponding range and transmits it to analog quantity acquisition and control systems such as PLC/DCS.
3. RS485 bus communication output:
The collected carbon dioxide concentration data is transmitted to the control system, which can network multiple 485 devices and support Modbus communication protocol.
To sum up, these are the three common output modes of carbon dioxide detectors. The application of carbon dioxide detector can quickly detect the concentration of carbon dioxide, effectively ensure the safety of staff, and greatly meet the requirements of high reliability of industrial field safety monitoring equipment. It can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, refining, biopharmaceutical, home environmental protection, school laboratory and other fields.
