气体检测原理分为电化学式、催化燃烧式、半导体式、红外式。

电化学传感器用于检测电厂六氟化硫等有毒气体,通过扩散直接与环境中测得的气体反应,产生线性电压信号。该电路由多个集成电路组成。信号被放大,A/D转换,测量的气体浓度直接显示在液晶屏上。当气体浓度达到预先设定的报警值时,蜂鸣器和发光二极管会发出声光和振动报警信号。
现场安装的探测器是防爆的,探测气体由控制器供电。当气体泄漏发生时,传感器将泄漏转换为相应的电压信号输出。电信号通过探测器处理后上传到控制器。接收到控制器后,数据将被分析并显示在屏幕上。当浓度达到设定的动作值时,控制器发出报警,驱动外部设备(排气、切断、喷淋等系统),实现安全生产的保障功能。
