Precautions for installation of combustible gas alarm
Publication Date:2022/07/14 Nowadays, the installation of combustible gas alarm is very important for gas safety protection. It can effectively guarantee gas detection in limited space and ensure the safety of the space. When combustible gas leaks in industrial environment and daily living environment (such as kitchen using natural gas), when the combustible gas alarm detects that the concentration of combustible gas reaches the alarm value set by the alarm, the combustible gas alarm will send out sound and light alarm signals, prompting people to adopt safety measures such as evacuation, forced exhaust, and equipment shutdown. Therefore, as long as there are flammable and explosive gas places, need to install combustible gas alarm. Do you know what are the installation precautions for combustible gas alarm ? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

Combustible Gas Alarm Installation Precautions:
1. The height of the combustible gas alarm should be confirmed according to the nature of the gas.
2. Be careful when installing the combustible gas alarm probe to avoid breaking the probe.
3. There should be no strong electromagnetic field (such as high-power motor and transformer) around the combustible gas alarm that affects the operation of the instrument.
4. protective sleeve should be added to the connecting cable of the alarm circuit. it is better to add metal hose to the wiring of the probe, and pay attention to the explosion-proof grade of the factory.
5. combustible gas alarm is a safety instrument with sound and light display functions. it should be installed in a place where it is easy for staff to see and hear, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.
6. combustible gas alarm should be installed in places where gas is easy to leak and flow through, and places where gas is easy to stay. the installation location should be determined according to various conditions such as the density of the measured gas, the airflow direction of the installation site, temperature, etc.
7. The density of the measured gas is different, and the installation position of the indoor probe should also be different. When the measured gas density is less than the air density, the probe of the combustible gas alarm should be installed 30cm from the roof; On the contrary, the probe should be installed 30cm from the ground. The installation height of the open-air probe can be selected according to the density of the measured gas. Special attention should be paid to the installation of the probe on the downwind side.
In summary, it is the combustible gas alarm installation precautions.Combustible gas alarm is the gas of safety testing instruments commonly used in chemical, iron and steel, smelting, gas, petroleum, coking and other industries. Each 1 of instruments has its corresponding installation instructions and related installation precautions. In the process of installation, we must carefully watch the relevant instructions.
