What inspection work should be done before the ammonia alarm is used?
Publication Date:2023/03/31 I believe everyone knows that the ammonia alarm mainly detects the concentration of ammonia gas. When the concentration of ammonia gas exceeds normal, it will sound an alarm in time, which can be widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, Light industry, coking, municipal administration, gas, pharmaceutical, sewage treatment and many special industries and fields. However, in order to better ensure the safety of personnel, we need to do some related inspections before the ammonia alarm can be put into use. Do you know what checks need to be done before using the ammonia alarm ? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:
ammonia gas alarm should be checked as follows before use:
1. check the service life of the ammonia alarm sensor and replace it in time if it expires, because it cannot realize the correct detection function.
2. Check whether the ammonia alarm shell is cracked or damaged, whether the rear cover is tight, whether the screws are short or loose, and whether other parts are complete.
3. check the ammonia alarm level to see if the digital display is at zero or within the allowable error range. if the deviation is large, the indication value needs to be adjusted to zero and calibrated.
4. check whether the ammonia alarm has sufficient power, turn on the instrument switch, see if the undervoltage indicator has any undervoltage indication, check the battery voltage, and see if the power is sufficient for working use.
5. pay attention to the measurement range of ammonia alarm and cannot be used in an environment where the concentration exceeds the measurement range. this will not only damage the instrument, but also cause danger due to incorrect detection.
To sum up, there are some checks that need to be done before the ammonia alarm is used. Ammonia alarm is an alarm instrument for staff to carry and monitor the oxygen concentration in the air in real time. Because of the danger of too much or too low oxygen content, the use of ammonia alarm also needs special attention. Before users use the instrument, they must do a comprehensive inspection to ensure that the ammonia alarm can be used safely.
