Where can hydrogen alarms not be installed?
Publication Date:2023/07/10 As we all know, although hydrogen is non-toxic, it is suffocating, highly explosive, and very dangerous. Therefore, in order to better ensure the safety of production, we should install a hydrogen alarm to detect the concentration of hydrogen at all times. Prevent accidents such as fire and explosion. However, the hydrogen alarm is not casually can be installed, for its installation location is required. Do you know where hydrogen alarm cannot be installed? The following is a brief introduction by Yiyuntian:

Hydrogen Alarm cannot be installed in the following locations:
1. Places directly affected by steam and lampblack.
2, air supply, ventilation fan, door and other places with large air flow.
3. Places with many water vapor and water droplets (relative humidity: ≥ 90% RH).
4, where the temperature is below -40 ℃ or above 55 ℃.
5. Where there is a strong electromagnetic field.
The hydrogen alarm can be installed in the following locations:
1. the hydrogen concentration alarm controller should be placed in the duty room or lounge with personnel fact monitoring, and it is only about 160CM from the ground.
2. The installation position of the hydrogen concentration alarm detector shall be determined according to the specific gravity of the gas. The specific installation scheme is as follows:
When the specific gravity of the detected gas is less than the specific gravity of the air, the gas detector should be installed at a distance of (30~60)cm from the ceiling, and the sensor position is downward.
When the specific gravity of the detected gas is greater than the specific gravity of the air, the gas detector should be installed at a distance of (30~60)cm from the ground, and the sensor position is downward.
in a word, in order to better use correctly and prevent the occurrence of faults, please do not install the hydrogen alarm on the receiving steam and oil fume. The air supply, ventilation fan, door and other air flow is large; Water vapor and water droplets are numerous; The temperature is too low or too high and the position of strong electromagnetic field, this can better ensure the normal operation of the hydrogen alarm and extend its service life.
