The value of the carbon dioxide tester is very large, what should I do?
Publication Date:2023/08/23 In the process of using the carbon dioxide tester, we sometimes encounter various problems due to various reasons. For example, there is no measured gas in the air, but when we use the carbon dioxide tester for testing, the displayed value is very large. So what do you do if you know that the carbon dioxide tester has a large numerical jump? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

measures for large numerical jitter of carbon dioxide tester:
1. the short-time zero-shaking scale is less than 1% of the maximum range and belongs to the normal scale, in the absence of measured gas, long-term drift of less than 2% of the maximum range is attributed to the normal scale. If it exceeds this scale, it is required to admit whether there is measured gas on site, or the temperature and humidity in the air shake greatly, resulting in unstable value.
2. admit whether the zero calibration or target point calibration operation has been carried out on the carbon dioxide tester. if the zero calibration operation is carried out in the case of the measured gas, the low concentration gas may not be detected. if the target point calibration is carried out in the case of the measured gas, however, the calibrated concentration value does not match the practical concentration value, which may result in a large fluctuation in the value of the carbon dioxide tester or a small value detected. These two conditions can be handled by restoring the factory operation.
3. if the problem cannot be solved, it is required to admit whether the carbon dioxide tester has been fed with high-concentration gas or whether high-concentration gas has impacted the gas sensor. if the gas sensor has been impacted, the carbon dioxide tester will be turned on and aged for 24 hours, if the value is not stable, it may be that the gas sensor is damaged by impact and needs to be replaced.
To sum up, it is the treatment measure that the value of the carbon dioxide tester is very beating. When we encounter the situation that the value of the carbon dioxide tester is very large, it can be solved by the above method. If the above method still cannot be solved, it should be sent back to the manufacturer for repair and inspection in time.
