2. when using natural gas, artificial gas or mixed gas with specific gravity less than 0.75, the installation distance of combustible gas alarm from the center of release source should not be more than 4m, the installation interval of two combustible gas alarms should not be more than 8m, and the distance from vent and window should be more than 0.5m. When the space height exceeds 4m, the gas collecting hood or the detector shall be arranged in layers. The gas collecting hood shall be set at a position about 4m above the release source, the area of the gas collecting hood shall not be less than 1 ㎡, and the combustible gas alarm shall be installed in the gas collecting hood. When there is no gas collecting hood, combustible gas alarms can be set up in upper and lower layers. 3. when the confined space is narrow and long with a cross-sectional area of less than 4 ㎡, the installation spacing of the two-way gas alarm shall not be greater than 15m.
