Calibration method of ozone detector
Publication Date:2022/03/23 ozone detector is currently used to detect ozone preparation workshop (ozone generator, ozone workshop, etc.), chemical, petroleum, paper, textile, pharmaceutical and flavor industry and other occasions to detect the content of ozone in the air and the concentration of ozone in the size of the 1 instrument. It can detect changes in the concentration of ozone gas at the job site. When the concentration in the air reaches a certain concentration, its ozone detector will automatically sound and light alarm to remind relevant staff to take corresponding measures in time. However, in order to ensure the accuracy of the data, we all need to calibrate it. Then you know Ozone Detector What are the calibration methods? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

calibration method of ozone detector:
1. Calibration instrument calibration:
the produced ozone detector is used to select 10 test points for distribution comparison, and the error range is controlled within + 1% as qualified.
2. Chemical titration:
Internationally recognized chemical methods are potassium iodide and sodium thiosulfate titration to detect ozone concentration. We also distribute and select 10 test points, and then use the ozone detector to compare with the 10 points tested by chemical titration, and the error range is controlled within + 1%. The principle of potassium iodide titration method is to use strong oxidant ozone to react with potassium iodide, so that iodine is released into the water, and the water will become brown. (Reaction formula: O3 + 2KI + H2OO2 + I2 + KOH) Titration with sodium thiosulfate standard solution to change free iodine into sodium iodide, and the reaction end point is complete fading of water.(Reaction formula: I2 + 2Na2S2O32NaI + Na2S4O6)
Ozone concentration: C =(Ana×B× 2400)/V0 unit (mg/l)
(note: Ana ---- dosage of sodium thiosulfate standard solution ml;B --- concentration of sodium thiosulfate standard solution mol/l;
V0 ----- ozone oxidation other sampling volume ml)
to sum up, these are the two commonly used methods for ozone detector calibration. we can use these two methods, it can better help the ozone detector to calibrate, and can better ensure the accuracy of the ozone detector detection data, so as to truly play the due effect of the ozone detector.
