What are the detection principles of the ozone detector?
Publication Date:2022/03/24 ozone detector is mainly composed of low-pressure ultraviolet lamp, light wave filter, incident ultraviolet reflector, ozone absorption cell, sample photoelectric sensor, sampling photoelectric sensor, output display and circuit components. it is the 1 instrument used to detect ozone concentration in many industrial environment. Due to the different applications, the detection principle will be different. Then do you know what kinds of detection principles are used for ozone detector ? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:
The detection principles of ozone detector mainly include the following:
1, semiconductor principle
semiconductor principle refers to the use of semiconductor sensor detection, when detecting ozone with an ozone detector, the semiconductor resistance becomes smaller (semiconductor N-type element), mainly due to the increase of carrier electrons in the element, and the concentration of the display is related to the proportional relationship and the type of semiconductor sensor.
2, electrochemical principle
electrochemical method is that the measured ozone gas contacts the instrument by diffusion or pumping, and react. Output a stable electrical signal. The gas concentration value can be stably displayed on the display screen with data. This method is simple and convenient to detect ozone, and can be measured as you take it.
3, principle of ultraviolet light method
ozone detector adopts the principle of ultraviolet absorption method and uses stable ultraviolet lamp light source to generate ultraviolet light, use a light wave filter to filter out other wavelengths of ultraviolet light, allowing only the wavelength of 253.7nm to pass. After the sample photoelectric sensor, and then through the ozone absorption cell, to reach the sampling photoelectric sensor. By comparing the electrical signals of the sample photoelectric sensor and the sampling photoelectric sensor, and then through the calculation of the mathematical model, the ozone concentration can be obtained.
to sum up, we can see that the detection principle of ozone detector mainly includes semiconductor principle, electrochemical principle and ultraviolet method principle. when you need to choose which principle, you need to choose according to your own actual situation and needs.
