How to install a combustible gas detector?
Publication Date:2022/08/08 In the production process of the factory, we need to use or produce various hazardous chemicals, among which there are more toxic and explosive substances and greater risks. Therefore, the necessary monitoring measures need to be taken to greatly reduce the risk. Such as the installation of combustible gas detectors. Combustible gas alarm, that is, gas leak detection alarm, is the 1 preventive alarm in regional safety monitoring. How do you install combustible gas detector ? The following is a brief introduction by Yi Yuntian.

Combustible Gas Detector Installation Method:
1. according to the use environment, select the specific combustible gas to be mainly detected, because the gas sensor, the core component of the combustible gas detector, needs to be calibrated according to industry regulations as the main basis for detection, which is closely related to the combustible gas to be specifically inspected, such as methane, toluene, methanol, ethylene oxide, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel and other types of combustible gases are different, there are certain differences in testing standards, which is the basis for ensuring safety testing.
2. According to the specific environment, design the combustible gas detector system design scheme, need to consider the gas pipeline coverage to select the installation point, the proportion of combustible gas and air to select the installation location, the specific area of the environment to be detected to determine the number of combustible gas detectors and the selection of the main engine of the gas leak alarm controller.
3. after the preliminary work is completed, the combustible gas detector needs to be installed. at this time, the general manufacturers provide telephone guidance or on-site guidance, because the installation of the combustible gas detector does not have any technical content, and only the positive and negative poles need to be known to connect the combustible gas detector and the main engine of the gas leakage alarm controller.
4. specific installation operation, design scheme of combustible gas detector system before installation, to route, fix combustible gas detector, together with power cord and gas detector. It depends on which signal is taken: 4-20mA signal output or RS485 signal output, and the combustible gas detectors are connected in series one by one.
5. fix the main engine of the gas leakage alarm controller, connect the combustible gas detector with close distance according to the system design scheme, and conduct the power-on test after connection to see if each combustible gas detector on the display screen of the main engine of the gas leakage alarm controller is correct. after confirmation, conduct the test.
6. testing the combustible gas detector system is very simple. the combustible gas with a certain concentration is placed near the combustible gas detector. after 1-3 minutes of full detection, the main engine of the gas leakage alarm controller will display the concentration value of combustible gas leakage detected by the secondary combustible gas detector, indicating normal. The rest of the probe, the same method can be used.
the above information on how to install the combustible gas detector is shared here. in the process of installing the combustible gas detector, only by carefully following the relevant requirements can we more effectively ensure that the combustible gas detector can accurately and effectively detect the value of combustible gas, in order to better ensure our personal safety.
