Calibration method of hydrogen alarm
Publication Date:2022/08/18 I believe everyone knows that the hydrogen alarm is the 1 detection instrument used to detect the specific concentration of hydrogen in the gas detector. when hydrogen is detected, the hydrogen concentration reading will be displayed on the liquid crystal display screen. the instrument provides the low concentration/high concentration alarm function that the user can set by himself. when the detection result exceeds the preset alarm setting value, the instrument will remind the user with sound, light and vibration alarm. In order to ensure the accuracy of the test data, the hydrogen alarm needs to be tested after a long period of time. Do you know how to check hydrogen alarm ? The following is an introduction by Yi Yuntian:

hydrogen alarm verification method:
1. In principle, the standard sample gas that has been certified to match the tested gas shall be selected for the calibration of the hydrogen alarm. The same measured medium selected standard gas is different, the alarm point is also different.
2. Before hydrogen alarm calibration, the surrounding environment of the probe should be free of combustible gas. Assuming that there is combustible gas, the rain cover should be removed first, a certain amount of clean air should be filled, and then the sample gas should be connected to ensure the accuracy of calibration.
3. when the measured gas of the hydrogen alarm is a hydrocarbon mixture, isobutane is the sample gas, followed by propane.
4. for hydrocarbon mixtures with large heat difference during incineration of non-hydrocarbon mixtures or gases with lower explosive limit concentration, butane, isobutane, propane and other easily available and stable single-component fuels can be used as sample gases when necessary. At this moment, it is necessary to adjust the range of hydrogen alarm according to certain detection signal conversion contact.
To sum up, this is the verification method of hydrogen alarm. In the process of using the hydrogen alarm, in order to ensure the accurate measurement of hydrogen detection, regular calibration is a very critical work. In principle, it is calibrated once a year or once every six months. The specific calibration time can be selected according to the actual situation.
