How often does the four-in-one gas detector need to be outside the school?
Publication Date:2023/03/03 In theory, as long as it can detect 4 kinds of gas at the same time, the gas detector can be called a four-in-one gas detector, which can detect and display the concentration value of 4 kinds of gas at the same time, and carry out sound and light and vibration alarm when it exceeds the limit. For the instrument, after a long period of use, it needs to be calibrated, and the four-in-one gas detector is no exception. Therefore, in the process of using the four-in-one gas detector, in order to better ensure the accuracy of the data, we need to conduct external school for the four-in-one gas detector. Do you know how often four-in-one gas detector needs to be calibrated? The following is a brief introduction by Yiyuntian:

calibration method:
the four-in-one gas detector needs to be calibrated with a zero gas and a gas with a standard concentration, and the obtained standard curve is stored in the instrument. during measurement, the detection instrument compares the electrical signal generated by the gas concentration to be measured with the electrical signal of the standard concentration, the accurate gas concentration value is then calculated.
according to the requirements of "5.5 verification cycle" in the national metrological verification regulation "JJG 693-2011 combustible gas detection alarm verification regulation:
1. The verification period of the instrument is generally not more than 1 year.
2. If you have doubts about the measurement data of the instrument, the instrument should be submitted for inspection in time after replacing the main parts or repairing.
From the above provisions, it can be seen that the four-in-one gas detector should be out-of-school at least once a year. Under normal circumstances, it is basically every six months to every year between the four-in-one gas alarm measurement calibration once. If the on-site working conditions are more complicated, or there are more dust and volatile substances, the four-in-one gas detection and alarm device shall be verified and calibrated every 3 months to every six months.
To sum up, we can see that the general metrological verification period of the four-in-one gas detector shall not exceed one year, that is to say, the four-in-one gas detector shall be calibrated at least once a year.
