Precautions for installation of ammonia alarm

Publication Date:2022/09/05

in some petroleum, gas, chemical, oil depot and other toxic gases in the petrochemical industry, are inseparable from the use of ammonia alarm. The ammonia gas alarm is mainly used to detect the leakage of indoor and outdoor dangerous places, and is an important instrument to ensure production and personal safety. When toxic gas exists in the tested place, the detector converts the gas signal into a voltage signal or a current signal and transmits it to the alarm instrument. The ammonia gas alarm shows the percentage concentration value of the lower explosion limit of toxic gas. When the concentration of toxic gas exceeds the alarm set value, sound and light alarm signals will be issued, and the personnel on duty will take safety measures in time to avoid explosion accidents. Therefore, the installation of ammonia alarm is very important. Do you know the Ammonia Alarm installation precautions? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

Ammonia Alarm Installation Notes:

(1) The ammonia alarm probe is mainly a detection element that contacts the combustion gas sensor. It is made of a platinum wire coil. Alumina and adhesive are coated on the spherical surface, and rare metals such as platinum and palladium are attached to its outer surface. Therefore, be careful when installing to avoid breaking the probe.

(2) The installation height of ammonia alarm should generally be 160-170cm, so as to facilitate daily maintenance by maintenance personnel.

(3) Ammonia alarm is a safety instrument with sound and light display functions. It should be installed in a place where staff can easily see and hear, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.

(4) There should be no strong electromagnetic field (such as high-power motor and transformer) around the ammonia alarm that affects the operation of the instrument.

(5) The density of the measured gas is different, and the installation position of the indoor probe should also be different. When the measured gas density is less than the air density, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the roof, with the direction downward; On the contrary, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the ground, with the direction upward.

In summary, it is the ammonia alarm installation precautions.Under normal circumstances, the ammonia alarm has its corresponding installation instructions and related installation precautions. During the installation process, everyone must carefully watch the relevant instructions. If you want to know more about ammonia alarm, you can come to Yiyuntian for consultation.
