What are the aspects of oxygen alarm verification procedures?

Publication Date:2022/10/24

For testing instruments, verification procedures are an essential part. Taking the oxygen alarm as an example, its verification regulation is the reference basis for the measurement and verification of the oxygen alarm. Through the re-calibration and calibration of the oxygen alarm, it can not only judge whether the oxygen detector is available, but also play a very important role in improving the measurement accuracy of the oxygen alarm. So what are the aspects of the oxygen alarm verification procedure? The following is a brief introduction by yi yun Tian:

currently, the national metrological verification regulation JJG's verification regulation requirements for oxygen O2 mainly include the following 3 standards:

" JJG 1087-2013 mine oxygen detection alarm verification regulation "

" JJG 365-2008 electrochemical oxygen detector verification regulation "

" JJG 10-1998 oxygen alarm verification regulations "

by comparing the above oxygen alarm measurement verification requirements, summary of oxygen alarm verification procedures are as follows:

1. Indication error

/span>

When the indication error is calculated by the full scale FS of the instrument, shall not exceed ± 3.0 %FS; indication error shall not exceed ± 0.8 %O2 when calculated in mole fraction.

2. Repeatability

Relative standard deviation ≤ 1.0%; under the same measurement conditions, when the same oxygen standard gas is measured for 6 consecutive times, the consistency between the measurement results should not exceed 1/3 of the basic error.

3. Response time

span> the time required for the instrument indication value to rise from zero to 90% of the stable indication value at the specified verification point, the response time of suction-type and positive pressure conveying instruments shall be no more than 30 s; that of diffusion-type instruments shall be no more than 60 s.

4, Zero and Span Drift

Under normal working conditions, the battery-powered instrument shall run continuously for 1h and the power-powered instrument shall run continuously for 4h. The zero drift and range drift shall not be greater than 1/3 of the corresponding indication error limit.

5. Appearance and functional inspection

> A, the instrument should be accompanied by the manufacturer's instructions, and accessories are complete; The name, model, number and manufacturer's name shall be marked. Domestic instruments shall have the license mark and number for manufacturing measuring instruments, and each switch, knob, display, alarm setting and other components shall have clear functional marks.

B. After the instrument is energized and ventilated, it can work normally. Each regulator shall be adjusted normally, and the display shall clearly and stably display the measured value.

C, the surface of the new factory instrument is evenly plated and coated, without obvious scratches, burrs and roughness. The joint of all parts should be smooth, and the instrument should not have appearance damage that affects its normal operation.

D. For diffusion instruments, there should be a diffusion cover for verification.

6. Alarm function

A. Oxygen alarm can set alarm points within its measurement range, when the measured value is less than or equal to the alarm set value, the audible and visual alarm signal shall be issued.

B, the alarm sound level intensity of portable instruments shall not be less than 75 dB(A); The alarm sound level intensity of fixed instruments shall not be less than 80 dB(A).

C. The alarm light signal should be clearly visible at a distance of 20 m in a dark environment.

7. Insulation Resistance

8. Dielectric strength

span> For instruments using 220V AC power, the insulation strength of the power phase line to the ground shall be able to withstand the test of 1500V sinusoidal AC voltage, frequency 50Hz, current 5mA, lasting for 1min, without breakdown and arcing.

To sum up, this is the oxygen alarm verification procedure. In fact, in our verification procedures for oxygen alarm, for its measurement and verification, the measurement research institute of the local provincial capital city or prefecture-level city should verify the oxygen alarm, which is the 1 very suitable way.
